ECO Systems verification

ECO Systems independently tested and verified

Two authoritative tests have verified ECO Systems’ fuel savings and emissions reduction claims.

The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) give their opinion on page 4 of their report:

“The tests have concluded that installation of the fuel enhancer has contributed to lowering fuel consumption by 40.1%. On the emissions, it is observed that there is an improvement in opacity by almost 57% and smoke density (K-value) reduced by about 33% thereby improving the cleanliness of emission from the engine.”

The Motor Vehicle Engineering Department of Lilongwe Technical College has independently tested the fuel enhancer, verifying in their report:

• a 30% improvement in fuel consumption and
• almost 80% reduction in emissions.

Specifically, the College said:

“After several days since installation of this device in our car, we have noted that the performance of the car has improved significantly in terms of the smoke which is produced by the car, which has reduced by 78.3 percent. On the other hand, the sound of the engine has become quieter [and] the device is positive in financial terms because it has saved the car’s fuel consumption by 30%.”

The manufacturers generally state a fuel saving of 30%, so they are delighted that the College has verified that figure and even more pleased that the MBS has found a 40% fuel saving.

These two official tests speak for themselves, but in addition Eco Systems Malawi knows that some truck owners have experienced up to 66% reduction in fuel consumption when used on older and heavier vehicles. Annual mileage and the condition of the engine also affect the amount of fuel saved.
